# Hayanezu

> Brand & Web Studio in Lausanne, Switzerland. We design brands and build
> fast, static-first websites, then hand over the source files, accounts and

Hayanezu builds brands, visual identities and fast static websites for businesses
that want good work without agency lock-in. Projects are handed over: source code,
design source files, domain and hosting access, documentation, and contractual
transfer of applicable rights in original work created for the client. Third-party
materials such as fonts, software libraries and photography remain subject to their
own licences, which are documented rather than transferred.

The studio exists for two reasons. The first is what DO Innovations kept finding
in client files: domains registered to agencies, logos with no source files,
copyright never dealt with, websites that could not be moved. The second is DO's
own experience of commissioning websites - slow, expensive and more complicated
than the work required. Hayanezu is what it wanted to buy and could not.

Legal and intellectual-property services - trademark searches and filings,
copyright advice, assignments, domain strategy - are provided separately by
DO Innovations SA under its own engagement terms. The studio itself does not
provide legal advice.
