Hayanezu takes its cue from Japanese: haya, for quick, and nezu, a shortened nod to nezumi, meaning mouse.

A small, quick mouse felt right for a small studio that moves ideas into the world. It is the thought behind both our name and the mouse in our mark: stay curious, move quickly, and keep the distance between idea and launch short.

Julia leads Hayanezu’s web and creative work and shapes the direction of the studio’s projects. She works with DO Innovations’ specialists on IP questions.

Why we started

Hayanezu grew from DO Innovations’ work with brands and digital assets, and from our own experience commissioning websites.

Hayanezu is the Brand & Web Studio of DO Innovations SA, a Swiss intellectual property firm in Lausanne.

The studio handles creative and digital work: brands, identities, websites, launches. DO handles specialist intellectual-property work: trademark searches and filings, copyright, ownership, assignments and domains.

The connection makes it easier to raise questions about a name, rights or ownership during the creative work. Specialist advice can be arranged with DO Innovations when needed.

Legal and IP services are provided separately by DO Innovations SA under its own engagement terms. The studio does not provide legal advice.
